The Castle Bar (The Snug)

The Castle Bar (The Railway Club’s Members only Area) having undergone full refurbishment in 2012 and decoration refresh in 2019, now provides improved facilities that go a long way in which to meet most of our members expectations. The Members area now has closed circuit video recording protecting all areas of the facilities, in which to provide our members & families that added piece of mind and personal security. The private facilities consist a secure members only Fob area in which to unlock the double door entrance area which also has important wall mounted club information. (Disability access is via the Green ayre suite entrance).

Upon entering there is a family area to the left and access to ladies and Gents Toilet facilities to the right (Disability and baby changing facilities are sited in the Green Ayre suite), moving further into the private facilities is the Bar area to the right and indoor sport and seating facilities to the left. Just passed the family area is an exit out into the Beer Garden and members covered smoking facilities. There are also areas around the room offering general information including what’s on, keeping our members fully up to date with there achievements and what’s happening in their club.

Please Note: All Non-Members must be signed in at the bar prior to the use of the clubs facilities, by a fully paid up member at a payable rate of £1 per guest. The signing Member is fully responsible for their guest whilst on the clubs premises, the guest must also depart when the fully paid up member  departs.
